    Courgette, ham and Grana Padana Riserva puff pastry roses + Gin Tonic and lime

    • 1 roll of rectangular puff pastry
    • 250 g courgettes
    • 100 g Grana Padano Riserva
    • 150 g ham
    • fresh basil
    • extra virgin olive oil
    • salt & pepper



    STEP 1

    Slice the courgettes into thin rounds.
    Unroll the puff pastry and use the pasta cutter to cut strips about 5 cm wide.

    STEP 2

    Arrange the courgettes so that half of them lie over the edge of the puff pastry strip, add a thin slice of ham, the grated Grana Padana Riserva and season with salt and pepper.

    STEP 3

    Fold the puff pastry strip back over the bottom half of the courgettes, leaving the top half exposed. Roll up the strip lengthways, carefully securing the end.

    STEP 4

    Arrange the puff pastry roses on a muffin baking tray, dress with a drizzle of olive oil and grated Grana Padano.

    STEP 5

    Bake in a preheated static oven at 180 °C for about 35-40 minutes, or until golden.
    Sprinkle with grated Grana Padano Riserva and leave to cool before serving.

    Gin Tonic and lime


    • Serves 1:

    • 150 ml tonic water,
    • 50 ml gin,
    • 1 lime,
    • ice.



    STEP 1

    Pour the ice into a glass, add the gin, then the tonic water.

    STEP 2

    Add a few slices of lime, stir with a spoon and serve immediately.
