    Sandy Carrots with Grana Padano Riserva

    Ingredients

    1 kg carrots,
    100 g Grana Padano Riserva,
    breadcrumbs,
    extra virgin olive oil,
    curry powder,
    rosemary,
    sage,
    thyme,
    salt & pepper.

    Preparation

     

    STEP 1

    Peel the carrots, slice lengthwise and parboil for a few minutes in salted water.

     

    STEP 2

    In a mixer, process the breadcrumbs with 1/2 teaspoon of curry, the chopped herbs, a pinch of salt, pepper and grated Grana Padano Riserva.
    Grease a baking dish and arrange the carrots in the dish; sprinkle with the breadcrumb and cheese mixture.

     

    STEP 3

    Drizzle with olive oil and bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C for 15-20 minutes.
    Serve the carrots while still warm.
