    Flower salad

    Gladioli are some of the most colourful flowers, with a delicate taste, and they are excellent to garnish a salad. If you can’t find these, it is important to buy edible flowers.


    • 200 g mixed greens,
    • 150 g Grana Padano,
    • 20 mixed edible flowers (Gladiolus),
    • 100 g blueberries,
    • 100 g raspberries,
    • extra virgin olive oil,
    • salt,
    • pepper.


    STEP 1

    Clean and wash the salad, put it in a salad bowl and add the raspberries and blueberries.

    STEP 2

    Add petals of Grana Padano and dress with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper, and mix well.

    STEP 3

    Wash and dry the edible flowers, taking care to remove the stem which often tastes bitter.

    STEP 4

    Garnish the salad with petals and whole flowers and serve immediately.
