    Oven-baked New Potatoes, Leeks, Rosemary and Grana Padano PDO

    Ingredients

    1 kg yellow and red new potatoes,
    150 g Grana Padano PDO,
    1 leek,
    1 sprig rosemary,
    extra virgin olive oil,
    salt,
    pepper.

    Preparation

     

    STEP 1

    Wash the potatoes under running water and dry well.

     

    STEP 2

    Thinly slice the potatoes just about half-way through (keeping them whole) and cut the leeks cut into rounds and place in a large baking dish.

     

    STEP 3

    Sprinkle with grated Grana Padano, rosemary and a pinch of salt and dress with extra virgin olive oil.

    STEP 4

    Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 1 hour.
    Serve the potatoes warm with freshly ground black pepper.
