    Cheese and Walnut Pies with Grana Padano and Thyme

    • 1 roll shortcrust pastry
    • 100 g Grana Padano
    • 2 eggs
    • 100 ml cream
    • 250 g ricotta
    • 100 g shelled walnuts
    • thyme
    • salt
    • pepper


    STEP 1

    In a bowl, mix the eggs with the cream, ricotta and grated Grana Padano, salt and pepper. Add the coarsely chopped walnuts and thyme leaves; mix well. Line 4 pie moulds with the shortcrust pastry, fill with the cheese and walnut mixture and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20-25 minutes. Serve the pies as soon as they have cooled slightly.
