    Rustici with Apricot Honey and Grana Padano cheese

    • 500 g Puff Pastry
    • 300 g Dry apricots
    • 150 g Grated Grana Padano cheese aged for 20 Months
    • 50 ml Honey
    • 100 g Pistachios
    • 10 g Black onion seed


    STEP 1

    Preheat the oven to 185° C.
    Mix the apricots, Grana Padano, honey, and pistachios in a bowl using a fork or spoon.

    STEP 2

    Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 5x3cm long strips.
    Place the filling in the middle of the strip and roll the dough into a spiral shape.

    STEP 3

    Brash with a beaten egg and top with black onion seed and extra grated Grana Padano.
    Place in the oven for 25 minutes.
