Ingredients
4 slices of rustic bread (such as homemade or wholemeal bread) 200 g fresh ricotta 80 g grated Grana Padano PDO 2 tablespoons of acacia honey 40 g of chopped walnuts 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil 60 g Grana Padano PDO in flakes
Preparation
STEP 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C and place the bread slices on a baking tray and bake for about 8-10 minutes, until crispy.
STEP 2
In a bowl, knead the ricotta cheese with the grated Grana Padano PDO until creamy and smooth. Spread the ricotta and Grana Padano cream on the toasted bread slices.
STEP 3
Add walnuts and top with a drizzle of honey. If you like, add a pinch of black pepper, paprika or your favourite spice. Arrange the bread on a serving plate and serve.
