Tasting activities will be organised for the 5 cheeses (TBD):

  • 9 October: at 11.30 a.m., Storytelling and Tasting of PDO Cheeses with Laura Melara-Dürbeck, journalist and delegate of the Italian Academy of Cuisine in Frankfurt, will lead us on a fascinating journey to discover the history and culture of Italian PDO cheeses.
  • 10 October:

At 12 am, Andi Schweiger, our Chef Ambassador in Ger will host a show-cooking just for Grana Padano.

– At 2.30 pm, there will be a wine-cheese pairing with journalist and sommelier Claudia Stern, who will explain the best combinations with Lombard wines from the As.Co.Vi.Lo association.

On 9 October, Chef Andi Schweiger will be present at the event that the Consorzio Grana Padano and As.Co.Vi.Lo (Association of Lombardy Wine Consortia) are organising at the Rheinloft, Köln, as part of the ‘Born to be together’ project. After this, the chef and the two influencers Felicitas Then and Janine Fischer will compete for the title of Germany’s Tastemaker 2023, by using a few chosen ingredients and one of their choice.
