Introduction
This isn’t your usual tuna pasta! Here’s a new, more flavourful and rich version, thanks to the addition of Grana Padano DOP Riserva aged over 24 months.
Ingredients
320 g mezze maniche pasta 200 g tuna in oil 1 shallot 120 g black olives 1 tsp tomato purée 80 g Grana Padano DOP Riserva aged over 24 months Half a glass of white wine Oil to taste Thyme to taste
Preparation
STEP 1
Finely chop the shallot and brown it in a pan with the oil. Next, add the tuna fillets, black olives, a teaspoon of tomato purée, white wine, water, and thyme.
STEP 2
Cook the pasta, then toss it in the pan with the sauce you just made. Finally, with the heat off, stir in the grated Grana Padano DOP Riserva to make the mezze maniche creamy.
