Macaroni with beans, crispy bacon and Grana Padano PDO

Ingredients300 g macaroni
800 g of fresh fava (broad) beans
8 slices of bacon
40 g flakes of Grana Padano Over 16 months
½ dl extra virgin olive oil
two ripe tomatoes (seeded, peeled and chopped)
1 clove of garlic
12 basil leaves
PreparationCook the macaroni “al dente” in salted water.
Meanwhile, chop the bacon and fry over a high heat with the olive oil, garlic and chilli.
Add the beans and cook for 2-3 minutes then add the basil leaves.
Season the pasta with the hot sauce and the Grana Padano PDO flakes and serve immediately.
