    Macaroni with beans, crispy bacon and Grana Padano PDO

    • 300 g macaroni
    • 800 g of fresh fava (broad) beans
    • 8 slices of bacon
    • 40 g flakes of Grana Padano Over 16 months
    • ½ dl extra virgin olive oil
    • two ripe tomatoes (seeded, peeled and chopped)
    • 1 clove of garlic
    • salt
    • chili
    • 12 basil leaves



    STEP 1

    Cook the macaroni “al dente” in salted water.
    Meanwhile, chop the bacon and fry over a high heat with the olive oil, garlic and chilli.


    STEP 2

    Add the beans and cook for 2-3 minutes then add the basil leaves.
    Season the pasta with the hot sauce and the Grana Padano PDO flakes and serve immediately.
