Each step in the making of Grana Padano cheese is an expression of the cultural, as well as territorial, environment that “invented” it, as well as a reflection of a social, economic, and anthropological, as well as atmospheric, climate.

It is based on two essential and interconnected principles: Produce as much as the global market can absorb. Generate resources for those who decide to grow to implement promotional and advertising initiatives aimed at increasing consumption. Therefore, the Production Plan does not impose any additional economic burden on those dairies that decide not to grow, which represent approximately 30% of the consortium’s production base.
