From June 22nd to 26th Grana Padano PDO will be the “Official cheese” of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2019 Competition, the biggest culinary event that this year will take place in Singapore in the iconic Marina Bay Sands resort.
Grana Padano will play an important role among the event, being served in all the most representative moments of the program: the Official Awards Ceremony, the Prestigous Chefs’ Feast at Tanjong Beach Club, will be served as welcoming at the special three Masterclasses, demonstrations and tasting with the world’s leading chefs, and the “°50besttalks”, a live discussion with Chefs, social media influencers and opinion leaders, all speaking about their topical culinary ideas and sustainability theme.

Created nearly 1000 years ago in Northern Italy in the Pianura Padana (Po River Valley), Grana Padano PDO cheese is produced following the same traditional methods in compliance to strict Production Specifications, becoming not only the world’s best-selling PDO cheese but one of the most loved products in Italy.

For the special occasion the Grana Padano Protection Consortium has invited YIKE TALKS and the famous food critic CoCo in order to  interview the most influential chefs and explain the new trends in haute cuisine exclusively for the Chinese audience, choosing to to share with the Chinese public its adventure at The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2019.
Both China and Italy, in fact, are passionate on food and haute cuisine but above all recently  Chinese are becoming more and more foodies and in this special occasion Chinese cheese lovers will be inspired in sampling the delicious flavor and delicacy of this extraordinary Italian cheese.
