Grana Padano Pdo

Partially skimmed milk

Partially skimmed milk
Partially skimmed milk is obtained from whole milk, where the cream has been removed by natural surfacing, i.e. it is milk with a low fat content.

It is also referred to as decreamed.

The cream is removed by placing the milk in a special container (a “separator”) for roughly 12 hours.
As time passes, the fat rises to the surface and can be removed.
