Giovanni Franzoni

Born in Brescia on 30/03/2001, he lives in Manerba del Garda and is a member of the Gruppo Sportivo Fiamme Gialle (Yellow Flames Sport Group) and has just finished 2021 with the national team B, competing in all disciplines SL, GS, SG DH and AC.

Giovanni made his European Cup debut in 2018 in Sarentino and in 2020 he won gold, one in Combined and one in Super G. In the same season, he made his World Cup debut in Alta Badia and in February 2021 he was called up for the World Championships in Cortina. A month later, he won gold and silver at the Junior World Championships in Basko, in Super G and Giant respectively.

Together with his twin brother Alessandro, he lived in Carisolo for seven years during the winter season. After that he enrolled in the Veneto Ski college, where he finished his studies by graduating from the Agordo scientific high school and joining the Junior National Team during his fourth year of high school.

This season, Giovanni will be competing in the World Cup in Giant Slalom and a few in Super G categories, meanwhile continuing his journey in the European Cup circuit.
