From 14 to 16 May 2026, the Grana Padano Protection Consortium will take part in Wine to Asia – Shenzhen, the leading event for the wine and spirits sector in Asia, created from the collaboration between Veronafiere and Shenzhen Pacco Communication. The event will take place in Shenzhen, a strategic hub of the Greater Bay Area, one of the most economically dynamic regions in China and across the entire Asian continent.

The event will host over 500 exhibitors from 30 countries, with a significant presence of Italian producers ready to tap into a high-potential market. In this context, Grana Padano will be at the centre of a comprehensive programme of activities designed to highlight the exceptional versatility of the PDO and strengthen its position among operators, buyers and industry professionals.

At the Consortium’s dedicated space (Hall 6, stand H6C22), visitors will have the opportunity to experience refined pairings, designed to highlight the different ages of Grana Padano and its dialogue with the world of wine and culinary excellence. Knowledge of the product will also be explored in depth through masterclasses and dedicated sessions led by cheese experts Vicky Zhu and Wenye Li.

“Our presence at Wine to Asia represents an important opportunity to continue the international promotion of Grana Padano in a strategic region such as Asia,” says Stefano Berni, General Manager of the Grana Padano Protection Consortium. “Through targeted initiatives, professional meetings and tasting sessions, we aim to showcase to the Greater Bay Area markets the distinctive value of a PDO that has always combined quality, tradition and extraordinary versatility of consumption.”

Participation in Wine to Asia 2026 confirms the Consortium’s commitment to promoting Grana Padano in foreign markets, consolidating the presence of the world’s most consumed PDO within a constantly evolving international landscape.
