    Grana Padano PDO ice cream with pears in syrup, chopped walnuts and fresh mint

    • 200 g cream
    • 200 g Grana Padano PDO
    • 250 g pears in syrup
    • 100 g chopped walnuts
    • 1 small bunch fresh mint
    • extra virgin olive oil
    • pepper




    STEP 1

    In a bowl, combine the cream with freshly ground pepper and finely grated Grana Padano PDO and mix well.
    Melt the cheese in a double boiler, stirring carefully.

    STEP 2

    Remove the bowl from the heat, set aside to cool at room temperature and then transfer the mixture to an ice cream machine.
    As soon as the ice cream is ready, serve with pears in syrup, chopped walnuts, fresh mint and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
