    Barley, tuna, red beans, basil and Grana Padano salad

    • 200 g pearl barley
    • 100 g tuna in olive oil, drained
    • 80 g Grana Padano PDO over 16 months
    • 230 g red beans
    • 1 bunch basil
    • 1 bunch chives
    • extra virgin olive oil
    • salt
    • pepper


    STEP 1

    Boil the pearl barley in plenty of salted water, drain and rinse under cold water to cool.

    STEP 2

    Place the barley in a bowl, add the drained tuna, beans, grated Grana Padano, chopped chives and basil leaves, season with extra virgin olive oil and salt to taste.Serve cold, adding freshly ground black pepper.
