Desenzano del Garda (BS), 20 March 2026 -– The Grana Padano Protection Consortium and the Prosciutto di Parma Consortium will jointly participate in International Pizza Expo 2026, one of the most important international trade events dedicated to pizza professionals. The show will take place from 24 to 26 March 2026 at the Las Vegas Convention Center – West Hall.
International Pizza Expo is a global reference point for pizzerias, foodservice operators and industry suppliers, offering a programme featuring competitions, masterclasses, practical demonstrations, and exhibitions on the main trends in the pizza world. The event is expected to welcome around 9,000 visitors and over 350 exhibitors from more than 100 countries, confirming its role as one of the most significant platforms for professional exchange and networking within the sector.
The two Protection Consortia will be present at Booth 2326, where visitors and industry operators will be able to taste Grana Padano PDO and Prosciutto di Parma PDO as part of a dedicated tasting experience designed to engage buyers, partners and professionals from across the international supply chain.
Participation in Pizza Expo 2026 is part of the international activities promoted under the EU‑funded three‑year programme “Distinctly, Deliciously, European”, which aims to enhance and promote Italian agri‑food excellence in foreign markets. This is the fourth U.S. trade fair included in the programme, further confirming the ongoing commitment to increasing the visibility of Grana Padano and Prosciutto di Parma and strengthening relationships with key players in the professional sector.
“Our first participation in International Pizza Expo marks another important milestone in the internationalisation strategy of Grana Padano PDO,” said Stefano Berni, General Director of the Grana Padano Protection Consortium. “We are delighted to bring our cheese to the world’s leading event dedicated to pizza, strengthening dialogue with sector operators and highlighting not only the versatility of our product, but also the quality, tradition and authenticity that distinguish the world’s most consumed PDO cheese.”
“Participation in International Pizza Expo 2026 is fully aligned with the long‑term strategy the Consortium is pursuing in the United States, with the objective of enhancing Prosciutto di Parma PDO within the foodservice channel,” added Stefano Fanti, Director of the Prosciutto di Parma Consortium. “Strengthening our presence in this specific segment is strategically important, especially at a time when our product in the U.S. market is navigating the inevitable consequences of tariff measures. Alongside participation in key trade fairs such as this one, we also plan to activate collaborations with major players in the restaurant sector, as we have done in recent years.”
