Berni: “In Paris, we will present the value, quality, and versatility of Grana Padano PDO within the broader international dialogue on the dairy sector”.
Desenzano del Garda (BS), 5th June 2026 – From 7 to 9 June, the Grana Padano Protection Consortium will attend the Salon du Fromage et des Produits Laitiers, a leading professional event for the dairy supply chain, held at Paris Expo – Porte de Versailles.
Now in its 19th edition, the three-day event will bring together more than 300 exhibitors and 450 brands and companies from 15 countries, confirming its role as a key meeting point for producers, buyers, distributors, retailers and foodservice professionals interested in quality, origin, innovation and emerging market trends.
For the Consortium, this marks its second participation in the Salon du Fromage, reaffirming the event’s importance as a platform for engaging with international stakeholders and promoting Italian PDO excellence.
In Paris, the Consortium will welcome visitors at stand P017, where they will have the opportunity to take part in tastings and discover first-hand the distinctive characteristics, quality and versatility of Grana Padano PDO, one of the most representative cheeses of Italy’s dairy tradition.
“Participation in the Salon du Fromage et des Produits Laitiers is an important opportunity for Grana Padano PDO to engage with professionals and operators from the international dairy sector,” said Stefano Berni, General Director of the Grana Padano Protection Consortium. “Paris is a strategic marketplace in which to showcase the value of a PDO that brings together tradition, certified quality and a strong connection to its territory. Through tastings and moments of exchange, we aim to continue promoting Grana Padano PDO and to strengthen dialogue with buyers, distributors, retailers and foodservice professionals.”
Participation in the Salon du Fromage will also provide an opportunity to share the core values that define Grana Padano PDO: its deep-rooted link to the territory, adherence to a traditional recipe, quality guaranteed by strict production specifications, and the role of a supply chain that stands as a symbol of Italy’s agri-food excellence.
