“CHEERS AND CHEESE TO EU”
Desenzano del Garda (BS), June 16, 2025 – Two icons of Italian excellence, Prosecco DOC and Grana Padano PDO, will be among the stars of the unmissable food and wine event Taste of London 2025, taking place from June 18 to 22 in Regent’s Park. Following the success of previous editions, the two Protection Consortia return to offer visitors a unique experience celebrating authentic taste and exceptional quality.
Thanks to the EU-funded project “Cheers and Cheese to EU”, attendees at Taste 2025 will have the chance to take part in exclusive masterclasses, engaging cooking shows, and, of course, tastings of Grana Padano and Prosecco.
In the dedicated tasting area, guests will be guided by renowned wine expert Neil Phillips (The Wine Tipster) through curate pairings of Prosecco DOC in its various styles with Grana Padano PDO of different ages, highlighting the harmony and versatility of these two well-known Italian products.
Daily culinary demonstrations will be led by Italian chef Danilo Cortellini, a prominent figure in the UK culinary scene. Each day he will host dynamic cooking shows, revealing authentic flavours, refined techniques, and gourmet inspiration.
This year, each day of the event will feature a different theme:
Wednesday, June 18 – Zero Waste
Thursday, June 19 – Pasta Party
Friday, June 20 – Party Like No Other
Saturday, June 21 – Super Sexy
Sunday, June 22 – Fun with Veggies
Each theme will be enriched by the presence of special guests ready to cook, entertain, and engage both the live audience and online viewers: chef and lasagna lover Nina Parker (Thursday evening), Asian-inspired food creator Verna Gao (Friday evening), content creator and cookbook author Angelo AKA Cookingwithbello (Saturday), and Italian chef Francesco Mattana (Sunday).
Taste of London 2025 promises to be an unmissable opportunity to discover and celebrate Italian excellence — from sparkling wines to the most consumed PDO cheese in the world: Grana Padano.
