Isamu Hirayama

Isamu Hirayama
Born in Tokyo on 18 February 1978.
Having developed a passion for Italian cuisine and its traditional dishes, trained at the newly established Tokyo branch of “ Turrio” (Rome).
In 1999, moved to Italy and worked at “Antica Osteria del Ponte” (Milan) and Bye Bye Blues (Sicily).
In 2002, when Ezio Santin of Antica Osteria del Ponte opened a restaurant in Tokyo, moved back to Japan as its opening chef.
In 2014, after working at “Osteria Monte Mare Tottorine” for a while, opened own restaurant called “Italiano. (punto)” with his sommelier wife.
