This program, adopted with the consent of dairies and producers of milk intended for Grana Padano, aims to regulate supply and adapt it to demand by raising additional resources in the event of production growth beyond a certain limit.<\/p>\n

The following Production Plan is an expansionary tool designed to enable growth above the average dairy production trend in the affected area and, even more so, in Italy as a whole. It is based on two essential and interconnected principles: Produce as much as the global market can absorb. Generate resources for those who decide to grow to implement promotional and advertising initiatives aimed at increasing consumption. Therefore, the Production Plan does not impose any additional economic burden on those dairies that decide not to grow, which represent approximately 30% of the consortium’s production base.
