The Grana Padano Protection Consortium will take part in the 104th edition of ANUGA<\/strong>, the world\u2019s leading Food & Beverage trade fair, held in Cologne from 4 to 8 October 2025.<\/p>\n

As part of the AFIDOP collective<\/strong> (Association of Italian PDO Cheeses)<\/strong>, Grana Padano will be present alongside the Consortia of Taleggio, Asiago, Gorgonzola, Mozzarella di Bufala Campana, Piave e Caciocavallo Silano.<\/strong><\/p>\n

ANUGA is a globally significant event: the previous edition welcomed over 140,000 visitors<\/strong> from 200 countries<\/strong> and more than 7,850 exhibitors from 118 nations<\/strong>, confirming its role as a key meeting point for industry professionals, international buyers, and decision-makers from major distribution and food companies.<\/p>\n

At the AFIDOP stand, visitors will have the opportunity to taste Grana Padano aged 18 months<\/strong>, as well as the prestigious Grana Padano Riserva aged over 24 months<\/strong>. A dedicated hospitality area will also be available, designed to host members and partners and encourage networking and dialogue.<\/p>\n

Adding a special touch to the Consortium\u2019s presence, Chef Riccardo Cogliano<\/strong> will be on-site during the first three days of the fair, presenting exclusive show-cooking sessions<\/strong>. These will feature dishes made with the seven Italian PDO cheeses<\/strong>, offering a unique gastronomic experience to Consortium members and their guests.
A highlight of the programme will be an exclusive evening event on Monday, 6 October<\/strong>, hosted at the prestigious \u201cK\u00f6lnSky<\/strong>\u201d venue, overlooking the river and the Cologne skyline. Organised by AFIDOP <\/strong>in collaboration with the all the 22 Consortia members of AFIDOP, the event will feature a reserved \u201caperi-cena\u201d for members, guests, and invitees, including journalists and influencers from the sector.<\/p>\n

During the evening, a PDO cheese exhibition<\/strong> will be set up, and a prize competition<\/strong> will be launched. Chef and food expert Stefania Lettini<\/strong> will curate the catering, offering creative dishes inspired by the \u201c22\u201d Italian PDO cheeses at the heart of the collective.
Through its participation and related initiatives, the Protection Consortium reaffirms its commitment to promoting Italy\u2019s food and wine heritage and enhancing a tradition that combines taste and quality.
